Model: EAP650-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.3 Build 20250714 Rel. 63935(4555)

Hi !

I have 3 pieces of EAP-650 Wall in 2 different network environment

1.  HW Version 1.0 - 192.168.2.2 - FW 1.3.3 Build 20250714 Rel. 63935(4555)

2.  HW Version 1.0 - 192.168.2.3 - FW 1.3.3 Build 20250714 Rel. 63935(4555)

3.  HW Version 2.0 - 192.168.3.2 - FW 1.4.1 Build 20250321 Rel. 39591(4555)

All 3 APs are trying to make an "A" name resolution request looking for "omada"  in every 10 seconds and unnecessarily loading my DNS servers.

Am I misconfiguring something ? Or is this a bug ?

See the screenshots below.    For #1 and #2 the screenshot is from Pi-Hole   for #3 the screenshot is from a Mikrotik router log.

Hi  @MonsterVic

Thanks for posting here.

This is the Omada device attempting to discover the controller for Omada management. We had planned to add an option to turn off the sending of this packet in the next firmware version. We can't avoid it right now. Please stay tuned for future firmware updates. Thank you.
