Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 2.2.5 Build 20240522 Rel.75860

Downloaded Firmware bin from https://support.omadanetworks.com/en/download/firmware/er605/v2.20/

When I click Upgrade, I get an error - Upgrade Failed. Please check the upgrade file and try again.

you need to upgrade to 2.30 then 2.3.2 first, in that order

Confirmed Working Upgrade Path for TP-Link ER605 (from 2.2.3 to 2.3.3)

Just completed the upgrade on my device. The key is to upgrade incrementally — do not jump straight to the latest version.

Recommended sequence (not strictly sequential, but this worked perfectly):

2.2.3 → 2.3.0
2.3.0 → 2.3.2
2.3.2 → 2.3.3

Quick heads-up:

After each firmware flash, the web UI will look different (new layout, icons, etc.) — don't panic, it's expected.
Take your time between steps, let the router fully reboot and stabilize.

This path resolved the issues I faced trying direct jumps. Good luck!
