Hi.

I got a new ER7212PC recently and initiated a firmware upgrade since the console prompted me to do so.

The gateway has now been fully offline (not even sending PoE to the APs) for one hour, and it shows no sign of booting up.

Is it normal to take this long? How can I diagnose this? I'm hesitant to pull the plug in case it's still performing the upgrade.

I don't exactly know which version if had and which version it was going to install since I don't remember everything, and the device won't even boot to check it out.

 Hi,@klaussfreire

We'd like to confirm whether the issue has been properly resolved.

Should you encounter any unexpected issues during the firmware upgrade process, you may attempt to restore your device firmware via the recovery mode of your gateway. How to use the Emergency Mode to recover the firmware for Omada Gateways | TP-Link

In the meantime, we would like to kindly remind you that please do not power off your device during the firmware upgrade. The entire process may take a few minutes to complete, so we kindly ask for your patience while the upgrade runs.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Hi  @klaussfreire

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

May I ask did you try to upgrade the ER7212PC manually or click the console to auto-update?

Is the ER7212PC currently has no LED? Did you recall that if the process bar of the firmware upgrade came to 100% and showed rebooting then stuck or it got stuck in the middle of the process?

In the process of upgrading, did you try to reboot the PC running the ER7212PC or made any other network settings? Or was there any power interruption during the process?
