ER7212PC wont show Users DPI info
Hi,
I just installed a new ER7212PC for a new network im building but im having an issue with the Users DPI, i have already enable DPI and Logging, DPI info shows up for websites but i don't see the Users info, nor i have the Statistics tab when i manually select a client to inspect.
When i go to insights - application analytics, the user tab is missing, only categories and apps shows up, unless i do 2 refreshes on the page, then the user tab shows up but shows no information.
Can anyone help me solve this please, iv already restarted the device but did nothing for it.
Btw is there a way to set this device as standalone mode to pair it with a software controller?
Thx in advance.

Only the OC400 hardware controller and Software controller (i think) can show per-user DPI data

@Javito i have the same problem. same gateway. last fw installed but no users tab or statistics. i tried the refresh trick but is not working on my device. dpi enabled. i can see app analytics but no users analytics.
i really hope that TP-LINK will work on this issue. Asus EBG19P can do that on 512 MB RAM!!!! also various things like wake on lan clients. ER7212PCv2 is a more powerful device but is missing a lot of features. i was thinking also about the software controller but that was the point on getting a 3in1 device. controller, router, poe switch.
some controller and switch features are missing for this device. i`m thinking if i should return it and go with another brand.

@DonLeonhard I wouldn't go with another brand tbh, iv beennworking with tplink enterprise devices for the past 10 hrs and iv been really happy, but now that I know I'm not alone with this device, I'll definitely return it and get a er7206, that gateway is awesome, been using it on one or the companies I handle for the past 6 hrs without any issues, I'll have to get a poe switch cause there's no other gateway that has poe included :-(
It's really a bummer that u can't use the router with an external controller or else i would definitely keep it

This is something that should be documented on the specifications of the devices, cant belive such an important thing for DPI is missing @Vincent-TP
