thanks. That one is a few months old. Was hoping a newer one. I have to restart every couple weeks on this one (find MLO stops connecting to all channels, seems to be stuck on 2.4 and going slow).

  @mrmbman the 773 seems to be the red headed step child, seemingly something special about it compared to the other 700 series models that requires different firmware.

  @Vishlamba  - I was having the same error on both of my EAPs, I was able to update my EAP787 and EAP775 by shortening the filename

I am still seeing the random loss of wifi for a minute from the 787 model with two units and two 775 wall units on the latest firmwares from this thread.

  @mrmbman they have the "6.1 and newer" threads but it makes no sense not to bring all AP models to the same Omada version support at the same time. Pure and total chaos. Many models, even high priced premium Wi-Fi 7 models, are getting left out of most up to date support. And then slacking off on newly released Wi-Fi 6/6E models, both indoor and outdoor.

  @JoePalmer It seems like those particular models are somehow architecturally different than the rest of their brethren in the 700 series, they've always been kept separate and their updates seem to be far fewer and scattered than the rest of the 700 series, I have to believe there's something special about them to cause that.

 

I don't know if they have a different SOC or what specifically? I've never investigated it, but surely there's something significantly different.
