Model: EAP625-Outdoor HD
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have two EAP625 Outdoors in a small Marina. Since it is close to the ocean there are qite a lot of DFS events caused by radar from the shippinglane outside.
And since they are mounted outdoors there are only DFS channels available.
I'm suspecting that this is causing issues since I see quite a lot of connects/disconnects from time to time between the two APs.

The APs are mounted within line of sight of eachother and the signal streagth is "Good (-65dbm)" which I know is not great but also not terrible.

Is it possible to use the 2.4Ghz band as uplink instead? Or is there a configuration I could try taht would allow me to use one of the non-DFS channels?

Hi  @Felix96

Thanks for posting here.

Yes, you can configure the second EAP650-outdoor as repeater mode.

Below is a guide:

How to configure Omada EAP in Repeater mode

And you can choose a 2.4G SSID on this step:

  @Felix96 Edit, it's supposed to be EAP650-outdoor not 625.

  @Felix96

You can't mesh on 2.4 GHz if they are omada controlled, however in stand alone I think you can do it, I haven't tested it so I'm not entirely sure.
