There is indeed currently a WAN MTU issue with the 8411, i have logged similar issues with support, the next forum release beta will address it - it effects VPNs, some websites and some other stuff.

 

For the moment i found a WAN MTU of 1455 to work for everything in general until the FW is released

  @GRL The issue I found and the support fixed with that built for me, was the MTU on the lan side, that with the WAN MTU sounds interesting.

  @Julian2111 Is there any news from TP-Links side specifically on that with DPI? I mean for my part I solve it temporary with a AdGuard Home, to block the tracking on my IoT Network.. would be good if that could be improoved somewhen, since the function would work very well.. just slows some sides pretty heavily down. 

I may try the WAN MTU thinggy these days
