TL-ER6020 v1.0 configuration issues
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi,
I have a TL-ER6020 V1.0 running firmware 1.1.0 Build 20150406 Rel. 35252.
I have two issues:
Firstly, online detection does not seem to be working properly as I'd expect. Right now, both WAN connections say they are up according to the status page. However, one of the WANs has no connectvitiy. Online detection states previously stated "Online detection failed" and just now changed to "Failed to get the network parameters". However the router does not disconnect/reconnect the PPPOE connection on that port.
My guess is that enabling a timeout value on the PPPOE connections might force the router to drop a PPPOE session once connectivity is lost. Am I right, or is there another way to implement this?
If that is what I should do, my second issue is that I can't edit WAN settings. It seems that as soon as I changed the router's ip from default to 10.0.1.1, the WAN configuration pages broke. Now instead of saying 'saved' when I click save, the page reloads and saves no changes. I've tried IE,Chrome and FF on Linux and Windows. I reproduced this 3 times with factory resets of the router in between each trial. In the end I had to set up the WAN before the LAN to work around this issue.
Thanks,
Ian
