Model: ER605 (TL-R605)   ER707-M2  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.3.3 Build 20251029 Rel.18054

I am looking to replace my ER605 gateway with a new ER707 M2 gateway. 

 

My current config is

ER605 gate way

OC200 Controller

TL-SG 2210MP Switch

5 APs

3 VLANS

2 WANS with fall back.

 

Question is what is the process?

Will i need to re build the gateway with my vlans etc? or will the controller populate the gateway?

You can replace the current ER605 with a new ER707-M2 following this guide in scenario 2: How to add/change an Omada Gateway to an existing Omada network

  @RJKulakowski 

 

All the settings are stored in the controller.  You just need to forget the old gateway, change the gateway model in site > internet, drag your configured WAN port to the new one (you will see when i mean when you change the gateway model inthe controller), finish the wizard, plug in new controller and adopt it.
