EAP650-Outdoor Memory Usage Increasing Daily (1% per day) – Is this normal?
Hi everyone,
I am currently testing two EAP650-Outdoor (EU) v1.0 units and have noticed a concerning trend regarding memory usage in the Omada Controller.
Device Info:
-
Model: EAP650-Outdoor (EU) v1.0
-
Firmware: 1.3.5 Build 20251111 Rel. 64506
-
Uptime: 1 week
The Issue: Since Day 1, the memory usage for both units started at 60%. Since then, it has been increasing by approximately 1% every day. Currently, both units are at 66% (displayed in orange).
The memory usage has never decreased or stabilized; it only goes up.
Current Setup:
-
The system is in a pre-deployment testing phase.
-
Only one client is currently connected to the APs.
-
We plan to connect many more devices in the future.
I am worried that if this trend continues, the memory will eventually hit 100% and cause the APs to crash or malfunction once we go live.
Is this gradual memory increase normal for this firmware version? Or is it a known memory leak issue? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
