Hi, I installed a R470T+ in my office.
What I'm trying to do is block a specific range of ports to restrict P2P downstream download.
My question is where in the R470T+ load balancer console can I do that? I didn't find that option or menu for blocking specific ports.

I'm sorry if this was already discussed but I couldn't find it here in the forums.

Thanks!

You can go to Firewall-Access Control-- Access Rule to block some certain ports, but since the p2p connections usually use random ports so it is hard to block and may affect some other applications. I would like to advise you to set up bandwidth control and session control to limit the p2p traffic.

See Firewall -> App Control and then click on the button "Application List".

Some protocols may be blocked but as jery says, there is no surefire way to avoid software slipping through any filters as long as http is allowed, for example. A good "marker" could be if the upload traffic is high for long time periods. However, you will see a similar pattern when using Dropbox etc. Risky stuff.
