Switch is an ES205GP v1.0, firmware 1.0.3 Build 20250609 Rel.74647

Port 5 on the switch is connected to a TL-SG3210XHP-M2 v2.0, firmware 2.0.10 Build 20250121 Rel.50059

Controller is an OC300 1.0, firmware 1.33.10 Build 20260408 Rel.53393

 

Problem is that the ES205GP randomly shows as "Disconnected" on the console.

The led indicators on it are blinking away happily.

 

Power cycling the switch or unplugging/replugging the cable in port 5 re-adopts the switch.

 

30 days logs attached.

 

Any suggestions on where to dig into this?

It was an irritating occurrence earlier in the year but was stable for a few months. Now it's started happening again.

  @peterdeg Check the cables connecting the switches? I assume the OC300 is plugged into the TL-SG3210XHP-M2, and no other devices on the TL-SG3210XHP-M2are having connectivity issues.

 

You could also try resetting and re-adopting the switch. With inconsistent issues like this, I'd check the physical layer first and then see if there's any config issues or changes that could be causing it.
