To clarify my suggestions:

Minimum and maximum pan/tilt angles for Auto-Tracking

It would be very useful if we could set the minimum and maximum rotation angles (in degrees) for pan (left/right) and tilt (up/down) when the camera is in auto-tracking mode for humans or vehicles. Currently there is no way to limit how far the camera can turn while following a target, which sometimes causes it to lose the subject or rotate too much.

Custom Zone-Based Night Vision Modes (the most important request)

In the current “Image & Night Vision” settings we can only choose one global mode. It would be a game-changing feature if users could draw custom zones on the camera view and assign different night-vision behaviors to each zone.

For example, it would be great if I could draw a specific area in the camera view where, when a human or vehicle is detected in that zone during a time period I set, the camera would automatically switch from Infrared (IR) mode to Full-Color (Full HD color) mode. I would also like to be able to choose different behaviors for different zones — for instance, one zone could remain in IR only, while another switches to Full-Color based on detection and/or scheduled time.

These zone-based rules with detection triggers and time schedules should of course also work when the camera’s auto-tracking function is turned off.

I own two VIGI 540W 2.0 cameras and believe these two improvements would make the VIGI system significantly more powerful and user-friendly.
