Title: Request: Show wired clients behind EAP211 Bridge in Omada Topology

Message: I am using the EAP211 Bridge Kit with Omada. The bridge works well, but Omada Topology does not show wired clients connected to the LAN port of the EAP211 Client unit. Instead, all those clients appear directly under the gateway, with no indication that they are actually behind the bridge. The topology also does not show the uplink port of the EAP211 Main unit.

This makes it difficult to understand the real network path. One of the reasons I upgraded from the CPE series to the EAP211 was to get better visibility in Omada.

Please consider adding support in a future firmware update so that:

  • Wired clients behind the EAP211 Client appear under that device

  • The EAP211 Main shows its correct uplink port

  • The full bridge chain is visible in Topology

Other vendors show this information in their controllers, and there are no higher Omada bridge models available that provide this functionality either. It would be very helpful for troubleshooting and for consistent SDN visibility.

Thank you for considering this improvement.

PS: I wasn't sure if I should put this under controller or wlan. If it's more fitting in controller, please move it, or tell me and I'll open another thread in controller.

Hi @AliReza_A

Thanks for reaching out to TP-Link Business Forums.

Thanks for your sharing and we truly appreciate your suggestions.

May I confirm what's the entire network topology, e.g., Omada gateway - - PoE Switch - - EAP211-Bridge - - PC, etc. ?

What's the hardware and firmware version of the EAP? Also, what's the version of your controller?

Did you enable LLDP feature which will help identify topology?
