Hello.

After yesterday's update of my EAP610 v.1 (news firmware version: 1.6.4 Build 20260303 Rel. 126), I noticed a strange issue - if the 5GHz radio is set to automatic mode, the EAP sets itself to channel 100DFS, instead of, for example, 36 or 40 (in my home network, channel 36 was used 98% of the time). I don't really understand why this is happening and what DFS is.

Does this happen to you too?

What's the deal with this channel?

@Ronczkos DFS allows your AP to utilize the same radio channels for your networks as radar systems, but will cause your AP to switch channels if radar interference is detected. If you need more Wi-Fi channels, you should keep it enabled, but otherwise if you prioritize not having disconnects or live in an area where lots of that interference exists, you should disable it.
