EAP772 outdoor AP used in Attic wont enable AFC so no 6GHZ
I have a dilemma. Is there anyway to get the eap772 outdoor AFC mode to turn on without a GPS signal?

@Galt Per the FAQ, no, the EAP772-Outdoor relies heavily on GPS in order to enable AFC.

@NeilR_M TY for confirming. Consider this a request for an option for us folks in texas who would like an outdoor unit for use in our Attics.

Hi @Galt
Thanks for your feedback.
Your request is understandable. Unfortunately, this is not technically possible under current regulations.
This is a regulatory requirement to ensure the AP operates at higher power without interfering with existing licensed users in the 6 GHz band.
And the AFC functionality is only open to the US and CA , while the other countries are still exploring this feature. Without GPS signal, the system cannot determine your precise geographic location.
Alternatively, you can still use 2.4GHz/5GHz bands normally.
