I am currently using a EAP110 for outdoor wireless access. I would like to upgrade to a dual band and a unit with more directional coverage as my current signal is weak and I only need to broadcast in one direction. Was thinking about the CPE510? I think would work but think it is meant for longer distances? any suggustions would be apreaciated.

Hi,@Jeff62
Thank you for posting on our business forum.

Yes, the CPE510 is designed for long-range wireless signal transmission.

However, please note that the CPE510 is a single-band device that only operates on the 5GHz frequency band. As wireless signals are easily susceptible to interference from various environmental factors, and client-side wireless receivers also have inherent capability limitations (for example, the wireless adapters integrated in most mobile phones have a relatively limited receiving range), we do not recommend using this device for transmission distances exceeding 100 meters. You may click the link below for more detailed information:CPE510 | 5GHz 300Mbps 13dBi Outdoor CPE | TP-Link

If you require a solution for ultra-long-distance network transmission, we would like to recommend our Bridge Kit product:Wireless Bridge | TP-Link

We also wish to remind you that all of our current wireless bridge products are single-band devices.
