Model: VIGI C250
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.2.1

Hi,

I have a VIGI C250 camera (firmware 2.2.1) recording continuously to a 128GB SanDisk microSD card in 3-minute segments.

I need to access the individual video files stored on the SD card with their original filenames and timestamps, in order to verify recording continuity and detect any potential gaps.

The VIGI PC Client merges all segments into a single file during download, which does not allow me to verify individual file timestamps.

My questions:

1. Is there any way to access the individual SD card files directly from the camera via FTP, HTTP, or any other protocol?

2. If I remove the SD card and connect it to a PC, what filesystem format does the camera use (FAT32, exFAT, ext4)? Will the files be readable directly on Windows with their original filenames and timestamps?

3. Is there any other method to browse and download individual 3-minute recording segments with their original timestamps?

Camera details:
- Model: VIGI C250
- Firmware: 2.2.1
- SD card: SanDisk 128GB
- Recording mode: Continuous, Main Stream, 3-minute segments

Hi,@mitos
Thank you for posting on our business forum.

You can access your recorded files directly on Windows via the following method: remove the SD card from your device, then connect it to a computer using a card reader. The SD card uses the FAT32 file system, and files will retain their original file names and timestamps after connection.

Attached below is the screenshot of my actual test with a card reader for your reference. All recorded files are split into individual segments of a uniform 256MB size. The video length of each segment generally ranges from a few minutes, and will vary slightly depending on factors including your IPC's resolution and specific on-site recording conditions.
