Model: EAP653
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.7

Hi,

can someone please send me the Interim Downgrade Firmware 1.3.90 for the EAP653 V1 (EU) please?

My access points are missing heartbeats and keep disconnecting with 1.3.5 and 1.3.7 firmware. Already tried everything from re-adopting, resetting, forgeting, factory reset...
Every time I add it to my (Hardware) Cloud Controller, it keeps missing heartbeats and disconnecting. I´d like to make a rollback to 1.1.3 to have a stable network again.

Thanks

Hi,  @the_brick
Thank you for posting on our business forum.

We will need to complete a brief troubleshooting process and collect relevant information from you before we can process your firmware downgrade request.

1. Please confirm if this issue only started occurring after you completed the firmware upgrade?
2. Please provide the model type and software version of your Controller.
3. If you are using a hardware controller (e.g., OC200 or OC300), please first verify that the physical connection between your EAP and the controller is stable. You may try replacing the existing Ethernet cable with a shorter one to check if this resolves the issue.
4. Could you please let us know if you have other EAP devices, and whether they encounter the same problem?
5. When the device shows the "Heartbeat missed" status, please connect a computer to your network, run simultaneous ping tests on the IP addresses of both the Controller and the EAP, and confirm whether the pings complete successfully.

  @Nathan-TP

1. Yes, it started roughly 6 months ago when I did the update of the two  EAP653v1 (EU).
2. It´s a OC200 running 6.2.10.181.40.18 Build 20260506 Rel.74003
3. The connection is using a hardwired CAT7, the devices are powered by TP-Link PoE Injectors. Ethernet cable on one device (the nearest) was replaced with a normal CAT6e for testing purposes, heartbeat missed after about 6 minutes of running, disconnect some minutes after.
4. Other connected devices without problems: EAP 610-Outdoor(EU)v1.0 (1.6.1), EAP225-Outdoor(EU) v1.0 (5.2.2), EAP225-Outdoor(EU) v3.0 (5.2.2)

5. Pings are not part of the issue, the devices are reachable via ICMP and also the Web Interface is working (but showing controlled by OC200)

Please send the downgrade software.
thanks
