Hi,  @blitzlee06
Thank you for posting on our business forum.

Please create a test SSID for your EAP via the controller, and do not configure any authentication-related settings for this test SSID. After completing the configuration, please connect a client device to this SSID to verify that you can access the Internet normally.

If you still cannot get Internet access after this test, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Please replace the Ethernet cable connecting your EAP to the upstream device with a shorter one;
  2. Please try connecting the EAP to a different available port on your upstream device;
  3. Please double-check that your upstream device is working properly with an active Internet connection.

 Hi @Nathan-TP

Yes, I tried using another cable and it works it seems the problem is in the cable.

Do I have to create a separate SSID for 2.4g and 5g? or its good to go?

TIA!

 Hi, @blitzlee06

If you require an SSID that operates only on the 2.4G band or only on the 5G band, you will need to create separate SSIDs for each band individually. If you select both 2.4G and 5G when creating an SSID, the system will automatically merge the two bands into one combined network.
