EAP650-DESKTOP. FXS PORT
Model: EAP650 Desktop
I am trying to use the built-in FXS port to register a Movistar Spain SIP line.
The network is configured as follows:
A standalone ONT connected to a MikroTik L009 router.
Internet access is provided via PPPoE on VLAN 6.
Movistar telephony uses VLAN 3 with 802.1p priority = 4.
The SIP server is accessible only through VLAN 3.
The EAP650 Desktop has a management IP address on my LAN (VLAN 10, 192.168.10.0/24 network).
I have correctly configured the SIP settings for the FXS port:
Register:
Proxy: 10.31.255.134:5070
SIP User: phone number
Authentication ID: phone number
Password: phone number
The EAP generates SIP traffic to 10.31.255.134:5070, but the status remains “offline.”
By capturing the traffic, I have verified that the SIP packets are leaving via the EAP’s management interface (VLAN 10) and not Movistar’s voice VLAN (VLAN 3).
My questions are:
Is there a way to associate the internal SIP/FXS client with a specific VLAN?
Is it possible to configure a separate Voice VLAN for the FXS port?
Does the built-in SIP client always use the EAP’s management VLAN/IP?
Is there an advanced option to select the interface or VLAN used by the VoIP service?
Is there detailed technical documentation on how the FXS port of the EAP650 Desktop works?
I haven’t found any information on these points in the user manual.
Thank you.
