TL-ER6120 VPN dropping with MAC.

I have a 6120 VPN router, working VPN connection, and it is disconecting the VPN connection from a Mac, it works great with windows base vpn client.
It doesn't log any error in the logs.
Does anyone knows how to check or what to add so it doesn't disconnect me so quickly

What is the OS version of your MAC? The Apple added some new features in the L2TP part, this may cause some incompatibility problem as you can see in the article below:

Hi , I have found a beta firmware for thisrouter,it is s solution for the L2TP VPN at Apple .
http://static.tp-link.com/resources/software/TL-ER6020v1_en_1.1.1_20160628-rel58934_up.zip
You may need to reconfigure the router after the firmware upgrade.

We are having the same problem recently. But we can't find the Advance button anymore. We are running on 6.5.0.14599. Is it taken out in the new version? Is it still able to fix the mac address? Thanks.

hi MarkinManchester, i just finished with your config, it seems the same as mine. VPN is UP-ACTIVE, but no data passes through could this be a problem with the new IOS ?
