Hi Guys,

Can anyone share or have experience on migrating EAP controller from WIndows 7 64 Bit in Desktop PC, into WIndows 2012 R2 in Server PC?

I don't want to setup all the wireless settings and SSID from scratch in the new server. tried to find solution in Google but couldn't find one.

Any suggestion and information will be much appreciated.

You could backup the data folder(in your controller installed directory) then cover the new installed controller. Or you could also backup configuration file in System-->Backup&Restore.

The easiest way to migrate Controller is using the backup file. The backup file contain the data and configuration information of Controller, so you can migrade these info by restoring the backup file directly.

You can refer to FAQ2288 for more information: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2288/https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2288/
