I saw many threads on this but miss details on setup. I have an ER6020 which is connected to a LTE router of my ISP (Huawei). My goal is to setup VPN between Mac / iphone as client and ER6020 as VPN server. My concrete questions are:

1) which ports do i have to forward from LTE router to the ER6020 to setup a L2TP VPN?
2) which ports do i have to forward from LTE router to the ER6020 to setup a PPTP VPN?
3) in which system mode do i have to use the ER6020? Currently I use classic.
4) is there anything to consider in the IP-Pool?
5) do i have to setup a IPSec policy for L2TP?

I did have the PPTP already working but it seems to be very unstable and now it doesnt work at all. So from principle it could work - at least PPTP.
