I'm trying to allow ICMP from WAN and I've been unsuccessful so far.

I have set the access rule from Firewall > Access Control > Access Rules and set the following rule
Source: IP from pinging machine
Destination: ANY
Policy: Allow
Service: ICMP
Interface: WAN

I have 3 WAN connections connected and when I try to ping the WAN IPs they time out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey guy, i have a R470T+ as well, i tried as you mentioned, i can ping the WAN IP successfully without any testing

@ChimB I think you also need to:

 

Firewall->Attack Defence->Packet Anomaly Defence-> Uncheck "Block Ping from WAN"
