Model : CPE510

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : V1.1

ISP : STC

I insalled two CPE510 as P2P for a distens about 1.6Km and i get speed only 17Mbps between the two point i want to know what is the best SNR to have a Good Connection Speed?

As a rule of thumb, a very very rough estimate given optimal circumstances you should expect real bandwidth according to the values below. I cannot stress enough how channel selection / width as well as other environmental factors / clean LoS / interference come to play in order to achieve these...

SNR / real bandwitdh as percentage of locked Tx/Rx bandwidth

5 / <20%
20 / <50%
27 / <75%
35 / >80%
Now serving finite customer via f(x)=AirTime/∞ on the 5Ghz band :-/

I get 26 SNR and -71 signal (Two from Four bar) and when i run a unidirectional speed test i get 37 Mbps TX is that good?
and when i run the other speed test (forgot the name of the test in the same tools on the CPE) but its give me 17 RX and 17 TX

sounds good, try switching to 20Mhz / MCS12 and report back

Select the Wireless tab; from the wireless basic settings go to 'Max TX rate' and select MCS7 or MCS12 (should be MCS15 by default). Save, wait for the link to re-propagate and redo the tests. Seeing that you are really close to the 27db threshold (third bar) there, you might be able to push just a few more mbps out of your link (I'd assume the 40-45Mbps barrier in unidirectional test mode to be the max given then distance)..which is pretty OK considering the inherent limit of 100Mbps of this device.

Would you be willing to share your experiences seeing that a few weeks have passed already?

I already install it with good signal and i get my friend 50Mbps Download and 10Mbps Upload internet speed with no issues at all with different weather the signal stable some time i lose the connection because there is no device connect to the internet (no send no receive) but good so far
