Hi,I do a lot of Video editing and my network with 1000BaseT is simply too slow to handle the large files. i'd like to set up a 10GB connection from my workstation and my two NAS Systems (both built by me with standard Server Hardware) to speed up my workflow and backup.
My Plan is to buy a TP-Link T1700G-28TQ switch and three HP Mellanox 10GbE Network Cards and three SFP+ Cables, 5 meter each. All other devices will be connected with 1000BaseT. Is it that simple? I have no experience with managed switches so far. Is it difficult to setup a real simple
Network with one IP Range like 192.168.100.xxx on the T1700G-28TQ?
