Model : CAP1750

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version :

ISP :

Is it possible to configure CAP1750 in FIT mode, such as to make its RJ45 port work in a VLAN (with tagged both ingress and egress traffic) ? I understand I could attach it to a small managed switch such as TL-SG105E and configure ports accordingly, but I'd rather avoid the clutter.

Yes, it's possible to use Multi-SSID with VLANs on a tagged port. See http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?99025-How-to-configure-Multiple-SSIDs-with-Multiple-VLANs-on-CAP-amp-AC-products for an example.

@R1D2 thank you, does this mean that binding SSID to a CAP with VLAN set will also ensure that the appropriate VLAN tag will be handled on ingress/set on egress of the RJ45 port of CAP ?

Yes, that's what the binding of a SSID to a VLAN ID is for.
