Hi folks,

I'd like to ask for some help.

After vacation I forgott my password for WiFi.

No prob I tought, just reset whole stuff and start from zero again. But I don't get it running again.

Reset done according advice (pressed "hidden" button on the back until teh LED flickers.

But now I can not login any more. EAP Controller opens login page ( https://127.0.0.1:8043/login), but the default login informatione don't work. (2x "admin")

Physically I tried both: connect EAP and PC direct or via Fritz.Box. No difference. "Pasword or user name incorrect" is the the only response I get.

Thanks in advance for any hint !

regards
Enrico

Resetting the EAP does not reset the EAP Controller. Also, the WiFi password has nothing to do with the EAP's management password and the latter has nothing to do with the controller's admin password.

If you forgot the PW of the controller and have not set up a mail server beforehand in the controller, only change to reset its PW is to re-install the controller. But if you are just managing one or two EAPs you won't need the controller anyway.

So you might set up the EAP(s) in standalone mode first: connect the EAP with you PC (not the FritzBox) and set your PC/laptop to fixed address in the 192.168.0.0 range. Start a browser, go to http://192.168.0.254, log into EAP and configure it for use in your network.

If you want to use the controller, re-install the software, connect the PC running the controller to your network, connect the EAP(s) to the network, login to the controller and adopt the EAP(s).
