Model : TL-R470T+

Hardware Version : v6

Firmware Version : 6.01

How to create a rule or configuration to allow icmp ? "block ping from wan" is disabled in firewall
example: I don't have ping and I'm kicked from the game on "battlefield 4" with r470t+
if I connect my computer directly to my 4G-LTE router or to my ADSL router, I see my ping in game

IP WAN1 : 192.168.2.1

IP WAN2 : 192.168.3.1

IP r470t+ : 192.168.1.1

IP My PC : 192.168.1.155

Thanks for the help in advance.

Best Regards!

perhaps configure it with "service type" icmp type=8 and code=0.
And with "access control" in firewall ???

bro , icmp is just a kind of protocol and ping is based on icmp protocol. if you don't set anything in the access rule, ping wouldn't be forbidden. what's your access rule settings?

hi fearthebeard, i want create specific "EA GAMES" firewall rules, like my old router D-link, i see my ping in game.
With R470T+, no ping in game and i'm kicked, reason "no ping". That's why I want to create the same rules. thanks

service type r470t+

I noticed your settings screenshots. But it's just a allow entry for access rule in fact. I think you're pointing the No.2 entry. Well, it has the same effect with the uncheck Block Ping from WAN. You could do a simple test, connect a PC to the WAN port. Both PC and WAN port are set as static IP in the same subnet. Use PC to ping WAN's IP address to check if you could ping successfully.
