Hello everyone,

Sorry for my english, i'll try my best.
I have a strange problem using a Pharos WBS210 as a repeater.
When WBS210 is booted, it works perfect, the four signal leds are ok and TX and RX > 100Mb.

It works very well for some hours, and then connection with the AP is suddenly lost and never comes back.
The only way is to reboot the repeater and then it immediatly works again.
I've already upgraded to the last firmware. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Julien

Latest firmware for HW v1.x is Pharos v2.1.12. If not available on your country's support site, use the firmware image for CPE510, it's the same image as for WBS.

V2.1.12 also includes fixes from beta v2.1.7, see http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?101999-WBS510_V2_171026_Beta-Fix-the-problem-that-WBS510-as-AP-will-disconnect-with-all-stations-after-running-for-a-while

You're welcome. Did the latest firmware solve the problem with disconnects?

Thanks for your advice. I can't find the last firmware v2.1.12, do you have a direct link to download it?

Thanks for all R1D2.

I've already tried v2.1.7 beta a few days ago, and all seems to be fine now, no more disconnects. Do i still need to upgrade to v2.1.12?

Glad to hear this. No, you don't need to upgrade to v2.1.12 if you experience no bugs. But if you want to upgrade, it won't harm either. Later versions always include fixes applied to previous versions.
