when enabeling "Redirect HTTP to HTTPS" in "System Tools -> Admin Setup -> TAB:System Settings.

Can/will this invalid cert be addressed?

It's a self-signed certificate, thus the CA is unknown to both browsers. Accept the certificate permanently and the connection will be secure.

 

There is nothing to fix with self-signed certificates. If there would be something to fix then it's the browser's warning message, e.g. by adding an option "This is a self-signed certificate. Proceed with accepting it permanently? Yes/No".
