CPE510 AP Disable DFS
Hi,
I've got a really simple setup. One side of a canal is a BT business fibre router/firewall, a CPE510 in AP mode and a laptop for troubleshooting. The other side of the canal is a ASUS 4G-AC55U in 'media bridge' mode with a NetScreen firewall behind it then the user network behind that.
Originally the 'Channel/Frequency' was set to auto. The connection would work for a couple of days and then the ASUS couldnt find the SSID. I did a bit of research and a spectrum analysis and if I set the CPE510 to Channel/Frequency 104 / 5520MHz the connection works perfectly.
However for some reason (assuming DFS) the connection will drop and when I check the CPE510 the status page shows the Channel/Frequency is 136. For some reason the ASUS cant 'see' this channel. If i set the CPE510 back to 104 again it works perfectly.
Is there a way that the CPE510 can be forced to Channel/Frequency 104? Thanks.
Regards,
Paul.
