I've posted this some time back in the "Omada Controller 3.0.2 for Linux (including new tpeap v1.4)" thread, but figured maybe a seperate topic would be better.
We were deciding between buying the OC200 or running the controller software on a Raspberry Pi and decided to do some tinkering. We're running the official 3.0.5 binaries from TP-Link. However, because TP-Link uses some binaries compiled for x86 we're using Java and MongoDB versions provided by Debian/Raspbian compiled for the ARMv8 platform.

I am running TP_link Omada 3.0.2 on an RPi 2 as built by R1D2 in this thread and the loads are pretty acceptable:
(on average 7 clients, 5 SSID's over 3 accespoints)
