TL-ER6120 V1 Firmware
Hi, I am new registered here because I am looking for help.
Using die TL-ER6120 I remember to have seen a firmware version 1.1.1
Now, having a problem since Update to the new BNG-system from german Telekom I wanted to get the last firmware.
I downloaded what I meant to be the last version and now I do have an older one than the one bevore.
But I dont find any newer download.
Would be great if someone got a link for me.
Thanks
Dirk

Did not know which version you need. I have the latest beta.

thanks a lot.
I downloaded the file and updated the firmware.
The problem ist not solved with that.
Thank brings me to the conclusion that the problem is located at the hosters side.
Thank you very much for this clearing!!

Problem solved by using another Router.
As I as I found out to connect with german Telekom needs to define a tagged vlan 7. Since changing to the new BNG backbone system by Telekom wich reaches me last week there is no longer a way to connect without this vlan-definition.
The TP-ER6120 with hardware version V1 does not offer this definition (Firmware 1.1.1), as far as I can see.
I now use a TP-ER6120 with hardware V3. I could define a vlan in the PREFERENCES menu with the vlan id = 7 and with doing so I was able to choose this vlan in the NETWORK menu at WAN1 PPPoE.
This works.
It would be great when an new firmware for V1 would bring the vlan-option to german users.
(Right now reading the telekom user blogs you find some "TP-Link routers are not usable with telekom"-messages...)

Congratulation for you.
But I think it's hard to ask TP-Link to make the new firmware for version 1 router. After all version 1 is too old.
