TL-ER6020 falling connection
Good Morning,
I have 2 links (Redel and Vivo) connected to the Tl er6020, on the WAN ports, on WAN1 (Redel) the link comes straight from the network on it, on WAN2 (vivo) it goes through a router in brigde mode.
The PPPOe connection is made on the Tl er6020 for the 2 links.
On the Lan port it has only one device connected that goes to a computer with linux, which has worked as a firewall.
Since the purchase, after the installation and configuration, it has been working perfectly until mid-December last year (1 year and so), when he started to drop the "connection" constantly, (coincidentally when he started having problems with Vivo, I have fixed ip both, vivo was not providing the fixed ip, so I called the technician, after a few days of the visit the problem started).
it falls but the cables continue to indicate connection (communication with the connected devices), the leds continue to work and indicating everything is ok.
The Tl er6020 was configured for automatic connection, in case it falls off already connect again, just before the visit of vivo (a week or so) for the Tl er6020 to make the connection again, had to restart it on power .
At first the problem only occurred when there was a power failure, then he turned on, did not connect and had to restart it, but since the last day of work last year, he has fallen even without missing light, he has already fallen + 7 times in 1 day.
The Electrical of the Tl er6020 is in a ruler that is in a large UPS that meets all devices in the server rack.
I contacted tp link support (Brazil) 3 times, these were their indications
1- the device has a limited number of attempts to connect when unable to connect it stops trying and just restarting it.
2- that to an ip conflict on the network and contact nvl 2 support.
3- still got no answer
based on their answers I started to do some tests and with the results of the tests I think there are 2 problems.
It falls at intervals of 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, however when removing the live link, the interval between falls increases to approximately 3 to 18 hours approximately. if you leave the da alive and remove only the one from the spool, it will fall in less than 20 minutes. With that I know that 1 of the problems is with live.
However, even without the live it keeps falling, only with longer intervals of time, which makes me think that the tl er6020 is also having a problem, since in these 1 year and a half I almost never had to restart it, and now I have q do it every day before the people arrive.
Does anyone know what may be happening? how to solve? have you been through this?
