Switch doesnt work with any VPNs
Ive been having problems getting my VPN to connect since adding this switch to our home network
I have a SKY TV Hub that has 2 ethernet sockets.
Socket 1 - Connected to my computer (windows 10) - this is the machine that I am attempting to run the VPN on
Socket 2 - Connected to the TL-SG105E switch which then connects to My Wifes computer, a printer and sometimes a laptop
While the switch is powered up, the VPN refuses to connect. Power down the switch or remove it from the network and the VPN connects fine. Wierdly, the machine trying to use the VPN doesnt even connect through the switch.
Have tried moving all devices to use the switch and have changed the sockets over into every configuration possible and also switched out all cables to eliminate a cable fault
Im experiencing this problem with our work VPN, and have also tried 2 different personal VPNs that are also experiencing the same problem with this switch (AVG and ExpressVPN)
Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

@Keth, did you change the IP address of the switch from the default 192.168.0.1 to an IP from your network? Maybe the IP collides with your router's IP. What's the IP block your network uses?

@R1D2 No, Ive not made any chagnes to the switch, just took it out the box and plugged it in

@Keth, you should at least check the IP whether it collides with the IP of an existing device, e.g. your router.

I noticed the default IP of the switch is 192.168.0.1 which is the same as my router's default IP. Do I have to change the switch IP to a different one?
Yes, you have to change the switch's IP. It collides with the IP of your router, that's bad. Set the switch's IP to another IP unused by any other device.
How come Internet surfing is fine now with the default IP?
This depends on the packet flow in your network, but it's not worth an investigation if you already know that you use the same IP for two devices in the same network.
Never use the same IP for two different devices in the same network.

@BryanL No. Not resolved yet, though with all the Corona madness going around I guess this is low priority for them.

@R1D2 Thank you so much for your recommendation. The issue is resolved! It indeed caused by the IP collision.
Here was my configuration:
ISP -> Modem(Arris SB8200) -> Router(TP-AC5400) -> Switch (TL-SG108PE)
Both router and switch has default IP: 192.168.0.1
Problem:
Cisco VPN client (AnyConnect) on my work PC keeps reconnecting.
But all other devices at home works can access internet just fine.
Solution1:
Disable DHCP of the switch and manually set its IP to 192.168.0.3
Solution2:
Keep DHCP setting of the switch untouched. In router configuration webpage, go to DHCP server->Address Reservation and put switch's info (MAC) and reserve a fixed IP, in my case I used 192.168.0.3
Router will then assign this IP address to the switch, avoid collision with it own.

I have it resolved, you need to assgin a unique IP to your switch to avoid it colliding with any other devices.
