Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.3

What may cause warning:

tplinkSysMonitorMIB.78.0.1 [1] tplink (OctetString): CPU RISING THRESHOLD: Total CPU Utilization is 81%     ?

Out of 10 ports

5 - active 100Mbit FD

1 - active 1G FD (SFP port)

4 - not active

Are there non essential options that are relatively cpu cycle hungry? any other suggestions to get rid off of this warning?

thank you

@Vytenis

Do you use SNMP with the switch? Would the CPU utilization stay at a high value all the time?

As I know, SNMP would cause a high CPU utilization, but it will drop down after the SNMP software finish gathering information from the switch. If it doesn't keep high CPU all the time, no need to worry about the warning too much, a brief CPU rise won't affect your network.

@Yannie

Yes,snmp is enabled and in use. Its been configured 6 months ago.

OK, I will keep an eye on cpu% level and don't worry too much if it happens only time to time.
