Model: CPE210
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have two CPE210 devices as a bridge between two buildings, about 125 feet apart.  Signal strength on client -40db.  SNR 68db.   I can run the speedtest tool and get 160 Mbps.

One the AP side, on a computer plugged into modem I get about 180Mbps down with speedtest.net   With a computer plugged into the client, I can get about 80Mbps on speedtest.net.  Why the big slowdown?

The CPE210 has 100Mbps Ethernet port, which would limit the max speed to 100Mbps, with communication overhead, I think 80Mbps is good.

@idealtrucks, to use full-duplex 100 Mbps Ethernet bandwidth over a half-duplex medium such as WiFi you need at least 300 Mbps wireless bandwith.

If you set 20 MHz WiFi channel width (thus reducing WiFi bandwidth to 144 Mbps in N-mode), full duplex Ethernet bandwidth will also decrease to around ~ 50 Mbps.

@Yannie Ah, I didn't know the ethernet port was only 100mpbs.  That does make sense then, but a bit deceptive on the advertised speed.
