Model: EAP110-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Having downloaded the user guide it seems to suggest that this cannot be powered from a POE Switch (Leaflet says only EAP225-Outdoor can be)

But having asked the question on Amazon where I purchased it some folk say it can be POE switch powered

Can anyone give me a dfinitive answer please??

@waulkmill, why not check the auhtoritative specifications for EAP110-Outdoor from TP-Link rather than »some folk's sayings« on Amazon?

Note that passive PoE (24V) is not the same as PoE 802.3af (48V).

You need to use the included adapter or a switch which supports passive PoE.

If your switch supports PoE according to 802.3af/at, it is not suitable to power an EAP110-Outdoor.
