I have a Western Digital MyBookLive 2TB NAS, which works perfectly IF I connect it to a Netgear passive switch slaved off my TP-Link switch, but NOT when connected directly to the TP-Link! I've tried different ports and Cat 5e cables, normal and crossover, and when connected directly to the TP-Link, I get NO TxGoodPkt activity on the WD's port. What sort of incompatibility could cause this? Very puzzling...
