Model: OC300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 4.3.5

I have the following:

TL-ER7206 v1.0 FW V1.0.1

TL-SG3428 v2.0 FW V2.0.1

TL-SG2210MP v1.0 FW V1.0.0

EAP235-Wall(US) v1.0 V3.0.0

WAN Config:

SFP WAN - Disconnected

WAN - ISP 01 (50 Mbps)

WAN/LAN1 - ISP 02 (1000 Mbps Internet)

Topology:

ER7206 (LAN2) > (LAN1) SG3428 (LAN2) > (LAN1) SG2210MP (LAN2) >  (LAN REAR) EAP235

ER7206 (LAN2) > (LAN1) SG3428 (LAN3) > (LAN1) OC300

ER7206 (LAN2) > (LAN1) SG3428 (LAN4) > (LAN) PC

Everytime I run a speed test, the following happens:

1. If I have the SFP WAN checked as one fo the port and nothing is connected, the SpeedTest will fail

2. If I have the SFP WAN unchecked the speedtest will continue but will always result in 0 for 1000Mbps uplink. I have to manually enter the SpeedTest result

3. The Gateway in the Dashboard always say N/A after a while (it says Need Speed Test). I ran the SpeedTest so many times aalready, it will show the Speed but after a while (say a couple of hours), refreshing the Dashboard will show N/A again at the Gateway.

All cables are Cat6, as can be seen on the Switch Port display on the Omada (all Green).

There are no special ACLs, rules, firewalls, VPN, etc. Just VLANs/Network are defined. All devices are adopted.

Edit to emphasize what I need help with:

I can't get the OC300 to show me the speed of my gigabit uplink. If I use only the gigabit uplink, my Speedtest fails (0 speed) even after it completed the whole Speedtest thingie...

After several troubleshooting and factory resets, I still can't get the system to show my speed in the Gigabit uplink. ALL devices I connected are able to do speedtest just fine (i.e.my laptop) and using Speedtest.net (same provider I assume being used by Omada).

My suggestion: Allow users to set the SpeedTest manually to any reasonable value (must be 0 or higher) and must not require a "periodic" Speedtest to keep the Gateway from showing as N/A. This will resolve my issues several times over.

Hi sinberge, thanks for the reply. And I think I forgot to re-emphasize my issue but I do have the Periodic enabled, but the speed still can't show anything >100 Mbps. If I run the "Pre populate", the uplink with Gigabit net shows 0.

As stated on my title, I can't get the OC300 to display anyhing over 100Mbps

Here's the dashboard

Try to set primary WAN to WAN interface, not WAN/LAN1 switch the cable and restart the gateway (take the power) Maybee speedtest read only WAN

@shberge Still no luck :(. I have uploaded a video as well so the Tech Team can see what is happening. I don't have any video editing software so I can't speed up the video, so just skip to 2:15 (click me) for the first Speed Test fail as well as to see the behavior after a "successful test" at 3:56 (click me).

Edit Note:

This happen  as well even if I don't use the Link Back Up (i.e. single uplink only), just can't get OC300 to detect >100 Mbps Uplink

@dmi Strange, When I do similar test it works.

I have OC200 and ER7206 but no backup link. maybe TP-LINK have a answer. ?

What is status off your Primary interface? is it 1000 Mbps?

@shberge interesting. thanks for the info, i'll look into my config more and check why the Gig uplink keeps failing. As for uplink, yep, it's Green. Could be my ISP too.
