Hi,

New to the forum, not TP-Link.  I will be getting fiber internet soon and I'm going to share it with  my neighbor.  We setup a PTP with CPE710's, with an Archer A7 on the neighbors end.  It seems to be working pretty well, distance is 1.3 km.

What I was wondering is what are good numbers on the status screen?  Here's what I'm seeing:

Access Point - Signal strength, noise strength, and SNR all N/A, Transmit CCQ% - 100

Client - Signal strength - -66/-60, Noise strength - -96, SNR - 47, transmit CCQ% - 100

On the alignment tool, I'm seeing:

Access Point - signal - -58, horizontal/vertical - -67/-62, noise floor - -97

Client - signal - -49, horizontal/vertical - -65/-60, noise floor - -96

I think this all looks good, but I'm not real sure.  I'm sharing my LTE connection with them for this testing phase and they are happy with what they are seeing.  I'm just trying to make sure that we set this up as good as possible..

thanks

Hello, a little adivce may help you. You can use the Spectrum Analysis to select a clean channel. Observe the curves for a period of time, and then click Stop. The relatively
low and continuous part of the average curve indicates less radio noise, and around -90dBm is better.

Also try to change the channel width may provide a better speed.
