Hello,

how exactly does online detection work?

I have a Mikrotik Client connected in the WAN port, and Zyxel LTE modem connected in the WAN / LAN1 port. In Zyxel is no SIM in the modem and still shows the online status. Is the online status really monitored, or only the connected device?

Both ports report online, while the WAN / LAN1 port does not have Internet access. So how can Link Backup work?

Thank you for the explanation,

Pavel

Hello,

speedtest (pre-populate) measurement does not work either. Still loading, no data transfer.

@PavelV

Hi there, I see there has a beta firmware for Omada Gateway and the OC200, and the beta firmware is released for the Fae, maybe it is reliable.

As for the WAN/LAN port, when there has no SIM card in the modem, can you click on that WAN and then check the WAN IPv4 address? Is it a normal public IP address or is nothing over there but status is online?

@John1234 Hello,

my first ISP is WiFi provider. I connect it to Mikrotik AP. LAN Mikrotik is 192.168.1.1 TL-R605 has WAN address 192.168.1.2.

my second ISP is O2 LTE modem, LAN is 192.168.1.3, TL-R605 WAN/LAN1 address is 192.168.1.4.

Where exactly should I find the WAN LTE if no SIM is inserted?

Thank you,

Pavel

Hello,

I plug SIM to LTE modem yesterday and use pre-populate button. both speeds were detected correctly. Then I disconnect first WAN UTP cable, TL-R605 automatically switch to WAN/LAN1. In ISP Load was 138Mbps Capacity (correct LTE). After connecting WAN UTP, capacity was 20Mbs again - correct too. I check Speed Test Statistic - both WANs is correct dispayed.

So everything works fine.
