Firmware Version: 4.0.5 Build 20200110 Rel.51761(s)

I have a pretty new (less than a year old) T1600G-52PS.  In the office, we have a 1GB x 1GB ATT Fiber internet line.

 

Pretty basic setup:  ATT Modem --> SonicWall TZ 500 router --> TP-Link Switch --> Computers

 

When I do speed tests, I'm getting pretty slow speeds.  I test w/these configurations:

ATT Modem --> Router --> Switch --> Computer:  about 85-95Mbps down

ATT Modem --> Router --> Computer:  900-1000Mbps

ATT Modem --> Computer:  900-1000Mbps

 

So why would my switch be slowing things down?  I haven't configured anything on the switch except giving it a static IP address.  Anything I should be looking at in the switch itself?  I had no idea this switch would limit my Internet so much.

Hi there, you can try to reset the switch if there has no any advanced settings on the switch and also try to upgrade the firmware version.

 

The speed is 85-95Mbps down when connecting to the switch, you can try to check the link speed(the negotiation speed) on the PC since it is less than 100M.

 

Last but not the least, TP-Link has an instruction to use the Iperf to test it.
