Hi, I am experiencing a issue with my EAPs (225 and 110) suddenly got disconnected or heartbeat missed. Both EAPs are installed using their own power supply (PoE) 110 is installed on Switch A, i continuously ping this Switch but it's on good connection with 1ms latency. the 225 is installed on different switch (lets name it Switch B) but there are two 225 in that Switch and only the one is disconnecting, and similar to Switch A, the ping is on good with 1ms latency. My action is to re-plug the power supply, it works on 110 but after 4 days, it happens again. i haven't tried to re-plug the power supply of it yet.

 

The 225 Failed to readopt 5 times automatically as of now

The 110 failed to readopt 2 times automatically as of now

 

Model: EAP 225

HV: 3

FV: 5.0.2

HV: 4

FV: 5.0.1

 

Controller: OC200 1.0

Version: 4.3.5

 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

@Jeesoon1 Can you draw a picture of how your network is connecting?

 

When the EAP is showing disconnecting, you can try to power off the "Connected EAP", connect the PC to the WiFi name and then try to Ping the IP address of the router, at the same time try to Ping the IP address of OC200.

 

Reset the EAP and adopt again may help.

This is my network 

 

 

I cannot do it right now because im doing all of this remotely, my PC is connected to the same switch as the OC200 is connected.

 

All of this log is the EAP225

 

 

I tried pinging the EAP225, it also show a good connection with 1ms latency. while doing this the status is adopt failed.

Hi All,

 

Resolve the problem after visiting the site physically.

 

Someone insert a device that conflict the IP Address of the EAP. It is now resolve.
