TL-600VPN DHCP Issues
Hello there! I am having an issue with our R600 router. The network setup is Modem>R600 Router>TL-SG1008P Switch>Various AP's etc. The issue that occurs is that every 48 hours (DHCP Server set to 2880 minutes, the max) when it goes to renew the IP addresses, that network completely loses internet connectivity from the modem. The resolution is to unplug and reboot the router, and it is immediately fixed. This now happens every 48 hours and coincides pricesly when the DHCP renew proces on the router starts according to the logs. There are no unusual errors in the logs, but I can follow up when I am onsite later and pull them again if needed.
- I've tried turning off most Firewall features
- I've tried changing the DHCP reservation time - it downtime always coordinates with the DHCP request
- I've tried updating from 4.03 to 4.04 firmware - issues still exists
- I occasionally got the Ping of Death error in the log. This feature was turned on, and I also tried turning it off to see if that helped.
Not entirely sure what else I should be doing here. This issue started happening about a month ago, and it hadn't happened beforehand. As far as I know there have been no new devices on this network. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
