Model: SG2008P
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

the hardware is here now and I have testet it without internet. First i was happy that i can know set up the network at home with POE, but it seems the EAP110s do not work with the POE ports of the SG2008P. But with the included passive POE adapter they do.

I want to use the EAPs with POE over the switch. What can I do?

Thx

woodmarq

Hey woodmarq,

EAP110 only supports passive POE, while TL-SG2008P supports standard 802.3at/af POE, so they are not compatible. You can only use the POE adapter to supply power, because TP-Link doesn't have a passive POE switch.
