I'm currently running controller 4.4.3 with this switch (and some EAP225s) and notice that the switch is not in the 4.4.4 supported hardware list. Is that an oversight in the release notes or has support truly been dropped?

Thanks

@unmesh

Hey,

You can upgrade your controller to V4.4.4, but I think there is no difference for this switch comparing to V4.4.3. It still can be managed by controller V4.4.4, but it can't adapt to those new features and bug fixed.

Actually, this model is not fully adapted to Omada SDN controller. They just developed a firmware with controller supported feature for some customers' requirements. As you can see, the switch's firmware release stopped last year, while the controller's version has developed several times, I think we have grounds to doubt they will not update the switch to adapt the features of newer version controller anymore.

I was not looking for additional features for the wired switch. Rather I was worried that updating the controller to get fixes/upgrades for the EAPs would then drop the switch entirely from my dashboard.

Thanks

No worries. The switch still can be adopted by the new controller.
