TL-R470T+ - Poor DHCP and DNS function

Hi,
DHCP server in the router does not store leased IP addresses across router restarts. This is a big problem because the router starts to assign duplicate IP addresses after any change in the configuration requiring router reboot.
Moreover, DNS is not working properly for local clients. In fact, it does not work at all for LAN clients with IP address assigned from DHCP. The clients in LAN can't see each other via DNS names. As a result, Windows 7 does no see other computers in LAN at all!
Will it be fixed?
I made a mistake to trust TP-link brand. Silly me. The product does not support even basic features.
BTW: Firmware upgrade resets whole configuration. Insane.
